    Guy’s post is just the beginning of some serious thinking that should happen around how to deal with funding of startups. The Silicon Valley people have been brainwashed to think that they cannot do anything without VC, but meanwhile the median amount of capital used to launch the businesses that made the Inc 5000 list is $25K, and only 3% of these companies have received Venture Capital.
    To build a real business, you should be able to sell what you have now, not sell the idea of something the market may like 2 years from now when you are done building…
